Arbequina extra virgin olive oil infused with marine phytoplankton. A unique product in the world, created in collaboration with chef Ángel León, and with a high intensity aroma and explosive flavor of the sea, which is combined – in a surprising way – with the green and fruity fresh olive juice. This new oil, 100% natural and vegan – since plankton is of plant and not animal origin – offers us a different and unlimited world of gastronomic and culinary possibilities.

The marine microalgae that form said phytoplankton are grown in the “marine garden” of the company Plancton Marino, which recreates the natural conditions that occur in the Doñana National Park, specifically in the Finca Veta La Palma.

Procedure: Add marine plankton as a prior phase to packaging and subsequent packaging with nitrogen, carrying out the protocolized controls.

Tasting:

Intense and bright green olive oil with suspended plankton. With maximum expressiveness in the nose and mouth of the sea, and in both other unique and surprising sensations appear, as due the union of this marine product with the juice of the fresh olive, which gives it green and fruity notes that positively intensify the green algae, iodine and the intensity of the crustacean.

It is very fresh and elegant, with a balanced soft and spicy bitterness, which disappears quickly. The mouthfeel is very sweet in balance with the salty memories of the sea. The mouthfeel is very sweet, in perfect balance with the saline notes of the sea.

To the antioxidants already present in EVOO (polyphenols, vitamin E and Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids), the most powerful antioxidant enzyme known to date is added, superoxide dismutase, responsible for neutralizing free radicals that damage our cells.

It also provides other essential minerals – such as iron, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium and potassium – and vitamins B12 and C, which make it an extraordinary product from a nutritional point of view.
